New World Theatre Presents PUTTING IT TOGETHER this October

Putting It Together is a special new series presenting original stage works. Performances at the Hatbox Theatre, located at the Steeplegate Mall, Concord, NH. This is a periodic Sunday evening series starting October 14, 2018. Showtimes are 6:30 PM. New World Theatre will present six new works at the Hatbox Theatre this season as part of their ongoing play development program. These productions will either be a staged reading or a workshop script­in­hand performance? presented with minimal staging, costumes, and props.

SERIES DATES: October 14, 2018 ­ January 13, 2019 ­ February 10, 2019 ­ April 4, 2019 ­ June 9, 2019 ­ August 4, 2019.

ABOUT THE PLAY: Kicking off the series is Places You Go , a new play by New Hampshire playwright, William Ivers. The work chronicles the story of Maddy Weare, a promising young musician who is destined to attend Juilliard. In the spring of her senior year she is involved in a serious car accident, and while the incident did not render her physically incapable of pursuing her goals, her future dreams do become much less certain.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT: William Ivers is s a teacher and writer whose work has been featured in various publications. He won the prestigious Northeastern Playwriting Competition with his original one­act play, An Unexamined Life. William is a member of NWT's Playwrights' Collective.
