Silk is based on two legends from the wonderful world of the far East and shows the power of young women who choose for beauty and freedom. Looking for their happiness they go on a mission that leads along an unknown path, foreign peoples and cultures. Twelve dancers and the beautiful arrangements, Oriental sounds and vocals of the James Yaakub Ensemble will take you on a trip along the Silk Road and tell how the silk-' new gold '-ever spread across the world.
