Found Movement Group's TEA. at Curb Event Center

Step into the lush world of Southern debutantes where everyone is fighting to be the most prim and proper example of perfection. Found Movement Group uses their signature immersive dance-theater style to cast a spell throughout The Curb Center where audiences are invited to wander from room to room as they follow the story of Annabelle, a young girl who dreams of throwing the perfect Southern tea party. After years of writing ornate invitations and perfecting her place-settings, Annabelle is ready to throw her first official tea party in her mother’s stately home. But can anything live up to the levels of society’s perfection? And is this a world that Annabelle truly wants to be a part of? With highly theatricalized scenes, contemporary choreography, and site-specific narrative storytelling, Found Movement Group deconstructs Southern ideals and creates new traditions that fulfill today’s generation.
