BloodSuckingLeech, a new comedy by playwright Amy Tofte, follows Erica as she attempts to protect her aging mother from online scammers, only to find herself tangled in paranoia, guilt, and chaos. As family tensions rise and reality blurs, the play explores modern anxieties, the weight of caregiving, and our messy attempts to protect the people we love. Developed through the Ingram New Works Project at Nashville Repertory Theatre, the production stars Rona Carter, Shannon Hoppe, Megan Murphy Chambers, and Meggan Utech, directed by Beki Baker.
