'Reverse Raffle' Offering $5,000 Grand Prize Benefits Arts Center of Cannon County

Save the date: On Saturday, August 4, the Arts Center of Cannon County will host a special evening of fun and games that includes a reverse raffle-with a grand prize of $5,000-and gourmet dinner. Tickets are $75 each and is your passport to an entertaining and fun-filled evening-and you don't even have to be there to win.

A maximum of 300 tickets sold which gives an individual a one-in-300 chance at winning $5000. The ticket also includes a gourmet meal (prepared by Darryl Deason and featuring locally grown produce).

Throughout the evening there will be door prizes and games with the chances of winning extra tickets. In addition, there will be numerous gift baskets (valued at a minimum of $100 each) available for prizes and auctions. The evening will culminate with the drawing of the winning ticket for the $5,000 grand prize.

The annual event is an important fundraiser for ACCC and the proceeds of this evening will directly benefit The Arts Center of Cannon County which provides quality entertainment at bargain prices. Tickets may be purchased at the Arts Cente,r Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by calling (615) 563-2787 or (800)235-9073 or online at www.artscenterofcc.com. You must be 21 years of age to participate.

The Arts Center is located on 1424 John Bragg Highway, just west of the town of Woodbury, approximately 20 minutes from Murfreesboro, Manchester, and McMinnville and one hour southeast of Nashville.

Founded in 1990, the award-winning Arts Center of Cannon County is a unique model for rural arts organizations. Situated in an under-served rural area in a town of 2,000 and a county of 12,000, The Arts Center annually attracts more than 40,000 visitors from a region covering over a 100-mile radius. Drawing on the blue-collar roots of its community, the organization focuses on self-sufficiency, fiscal responsibility and social entrepreneurship. The Arts Center is partially funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission, Southern Arts Federation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
