Back by popular demand, America's most famous literary icon comes to life upon the Roxy Regional Theatre stage for three performances only on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22.

Starring Ashton Crosby and adapted and directed by Cecilia Rubino, Mark Twain: Adventures in American Humor made its debut at New York's Lincoln Center and played to sold-out houses at the Roxy in 2009. Crosby is joined this time around by Cary Hite and Carl Howell, who portray a number of roles in such stories as "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County," "Life on the Mississippi," "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," as well as share in some of Twain's reminiscences taken from his Autobiography.

Mark Twain: Adventures in American Humor plays at 8pm on Friday, October 21, and at 2pm and 8pm on Saturday, October 22. Tickets are $15 (adults) and $10 (ages 13 and under) and may be reserved online at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org, by phone at (931)645-7699, or at the theatre during regular box office hours (9am-2pm, weekdays).
