By: Tyler Peterson
The national tour of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY will make its Nashville premiere at Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Jackson Hall during a limited, one-week engagement November 10-15, 2015.
Tickets go on sale Friday, August 28, at 10:00 a.m. at TPAC.org, by phone at 615-782-4040, and at the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick Street, in downtown Nashville. For group tickets, please call 615-782-4060. Written by Woody Allen (Death Defying Acts, Writer's Block) and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, BULLETS OVER BROADWAY tells the story of an aspiring young playwright newly arrived on Broadway in 1920s New York who is forced to cast a mobster's talentless girlfriend in his latest drama in order to get it produced. "We're so proud to have BULLETS OVER BROADWAY making its Nashville debut with us this season. This high-energy, quick-witted musical comedy is one of Woody Allen's finest works, and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser," said Kathleen O'Brien, TPAC's president and chief executive officer. "Whether you've memorized all the great moments from the film, or are drawn to spectacular choreography and big Broadway dance numbers, BULLETS delivers."
