The Secret Chord: A Leonard Cohen Experience at Sylvan Adams Theatre

A docu-concert that moves between storytelling and performance, tracing Leonard Cohen's life through the songs that built his legend. Five performers and a live band share the stage for ninety minutes, trading off the lead from song to song, reinterpreting Cohen's classics with a fresh charge pulled toward soul, blues and gospel. The production features Divine Brown, Emily Schultz, Andrew Penner, Michael Torontow and Beau Dixon, with musicians Jamie Drake, Jacob Gorzhaltsan, Bret Higgins and Tom Moffett. Performed without intermission, the show moves through arrangements of Hallelujah, Suzanne, Bird on the Wire, Everybody Knows and So Long, Marianne.
