KHOJ: An international dance & live music collaboration at Auditorium of the Grande Bibliothèque

The Kabir Center for Arts & Culture is inviting you to a spectacular show: KHOJ - an international dance & live music collaboration!KHOJ is a new Kathak dance show created by Canadian company Usha Gupta Dance Entourage. Canadian dance treasure, Usha Gupta, is known as an ambassador of cultural diversity in Edmonton and Canada as well as for the strong body of work she has created over the past three decades as a dancer, choreographer, producer, and teacher.KHOJ, meaning quest, features an outstanding ensemble of local dancers: Riya Mittal and Marla Palakkamanil Gill, and four dancers from India: Anuj Mishra, Souvik Chakraborty, Ayan Banerjee and Asmita Thakur. It features a score by Parveen Rao performed by a live ensemble with Deepak Paramashivan, who has thrilled the world music scene with masterful performances. A unique event not to be missed!
