The Foundation of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec marks the institution's 60th anniversary with a benefit evening on April 22, 2026, celebrating its graduating students while raising funds for the Fonds pour l'excellence – Anik Bissonnette, which supports the Danser en santé initiative focused on the physical and mental well-being of young dancers. The evening opens with the presentation of the Prix de l'exceptionnel to Florence Longpré and Guillaume Lonergan, the screenwriter and director of the series Empathie, followed by honorary recognition for Pierre Goulet for his 17 years of service to the institution. Ambassadors Marie-Josée Gauvin and Guillaume Côté will preside over the evening, which also features scholarship presentations to graduating students. The night concludes with SOLO, a showcase of nine pieces performed by ESBQ graduates including Emma Perron, Natasha Pazhouhandeh Asl, Anaël Tigiffon, Léo Lussier, Ève Dupuis, Katrina Lungu, Alexane Depelteau-Lacassagne, Carola Talarico, and Clémence Lacasse, each working with a distinct choreographer.
