The Alpine Theatre Project is Montana's world-class professional Equity theatre led by Founding Artists Betsi Morrison (Broadway's Sound of Music), David Ackroyd (Broadway's Children of a Lesser God), and Luke Walrath (Broadway's 42nd Street). It brings artists from Broadway and other major regional theatres to perform in the beautiful Flathead Valley in productions ranging from classic musicals to contemporary drama. It boasts an Honorary Board of such entertainment luminaries as John Lithgow, Olympia Dukakis, Henry Winkler, and more.
Nestled in the Northern Rockies, Whitefish has solidified its reputation as recreation capital of Montana. Whether it's the five championship golf courses in the area, its proximity to Glacier National Park and numerous national forests, the world-renown Ed Whitefish Mountain Resort, or its many lakes and rivers, Whitefish has fused outdoor living with a cosmopolitan sensibility. It is in this remarkable environment that the Alpine Theatre Project makes it home.
