The Prom features book and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, book by Bob Martin, and music by Matthew Sklar, based on the original concept by Jack Viertel, directed by Amanda White. When four down-on-their-luck Broadway actors hear about a small-town Indiana teen banned from bringing her girlfriend to prom, they see a chance for a PR makeover, leading to laughter, love, and a celebration of individuality. The cast includes Imani Harris as Emma Nolan and Sydney Lin as Alyssa Greene, alongside Dorian Brooke, Ethan Crank, Caitlin Featherstone, Emily Grodzik, Erik Haering, Elizabeth Florence Hale, Sheena Janson, Lexi Johnson, George Kleven, Catherine Maki, Xan Mattek, Andrew Newman, Parker David Payne, Colin Perucco, Drew Reynhout, Kate Spence, Quinn Wambeke, and Sophia Rose White. A Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Musical, the show features an infectious pop score and a story about love, acceptance, and standing up for what is right.
