Vel & Groppi: In the Deep Tracks is a World Premiere production written by playwright Josh Pohja and directed by acclaimed Milwaukee artist Sheri Williams Pannell. The work is inspired by Milwaukee history and the enduring legacy of civil rights figures Vel Phillips and Father James Groppi. Performances are scheduled for August 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m., and August 15, 16, 22, and 23 at 3:00 p.m., with Pay What You Can evenings on Thursday, August 13 and 20.
