Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (2007), Rabbit Hole is a deeply moving exploration of grief, love, and the delicate path toward healing. Becca and Howie are a couple grappling with the sudden loss of their young son, each navigating sorrow in ways that pull them apart even as they long to reconnect. As family tensions rise and the teenager involved in the accident reaches out, the boundaries of forgiveness, memory, and resilience are tested. With moments of humor, honesty, and quiet grace, Rabbit Hole offers a powerful look at the human capacity to endure the unendurable—and to find hope on the other side.

Located in the heart of downtown Hartland, Lake Country Playhouse is a cleverly converted Masonic Lodge that houses an 82-seat black box theatre, scenic, paint, and costume shops, and The Playhouse Performing Arts Academy. Together, this facility serves as a vibrant artistic hub in Lake Country which produces compelling dramas, powerful classics, full scale musicals, an annual production of A Christmas Carol, and exceptional youth programming in an intimate, signature style.
