California has been the birthplace of some of the biggest and best rock bands. We’ll pay tribute to groups like the Doors who gave us Riders on the Storm, People are Strange, and Light My Fire . . . the Doobie Brothers who sang What a Fool Believes, Black Water, and Takin’ it to the Streets . . . Jefferson Airplane taught us to fly with White Rabbit and Don’t You Want Somebody to Love? And in the eighties, Journey told us we could have it Anyway You Want It! Of course, California also gave us the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Beach Boys, the Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and so many more.
