Milwaukee musician Derek Sallmann (A recent Wisconsin Area Music Industry nominee for "Best New Artist") is determined to get his music heard. The 22-year-old songwriter who has performed at Wisconsin's top festivals including Wisconsin State Fair, Bastille Days, and Milwaukee's Summerfest, is getting ready to release a new, self-made lyric video for his song "Nothing's Changed" on 8/29/17.

"Nothing's Changed" is the last song off of his first album All Seasons. He describes it as a song about how "after a relationship breaks down, there are all these "what if" moments when you try to figure out ways to get back to how things used to be". The video features an elegant cursive font and photos of beautiful landscapes at night. The video was actually created by Derek himself, who says he enjoys being able to make lyric videos for his songs because "the addition of a visual element helps convey the theme of the song", and that he hopes the video connects with his fans.

Derek is currently touring around Wisconsin and is working on songs for his next album, as well as making videos for the songs from his first album. The new lyric video can be viewed on his website, www.dereksallmann.com on 8/29/17.
