ABOUT:                TO THE PROMISED LAND
By Jonathan Gillard Daly

For the past two years, First Stage has been working with local actor/playwright Jonathan Gillard Daly to develop his original script TO THE PROMISED LAND.  The play deftly weaves together the story of a young girl who has lost her brother during the Civil Rights actions in Milwaukee in the late 60s with that of Golda Meir - building toward the moment that the two characters meet when Golda returns to Fourth Street School to give a speech.  For everyone ages 10 and up.

TICKETS:               Admission for this reading of TO THE PROMISED LAND is free.  Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.  There is a $5/person suggested donation amount; donations to First Stage support New Play Development, a corner stone of the First Stage mission.   Please call (414) 267-2961 with questions.
