The Witches of Eastwick is a 2000 musical based on the 1984 novel of the same name by John Updike and the subsequent hit film with Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jack Nicholson. It was adapted for the stage by John Dempsey (lyrics and book) and Dana P. Rowe (music), and produced by Cameron Mackintosh it had a successful run in London’s West End, Australia and a UK National Tour. The US rights have been widely restricted in anticipation of a Broadway production. WMU has received the rights to be the first university production of the show on this side of the Atlantic!
