EMU Theatre is pleased to present Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, freely adapted by Martin Crimp. Finding himself trapped in a love triangle, Cyrano longs for the radiant Roxanne, who is in love with the handsome but tongue-tied Christian. In this radical new adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s masterwork, Cyrano uses his linguistic brilliance, poured out in rap and rhyme, to help another man win the heart of his true love. Cyrano de Bergerac has an approximate runtime of two hours and thirty minutes, including intermission. This production is suggested for mature audiences due to language and sexual content.
