Almost Heaven: John Denver's America celebrates the music and legacy of John Denver, revisiting beloved songs such as Take Me Home, Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Annie's Song, and Sunshine on My Shoulders. The production is directed by Artistic Director Matthew Kacergis, with music direction by guitarist Owen James, choreography by Daniel Cruz, and lighting design by Benjamin Arnett. The cast includes Ricky Hill, Christian Wilder, Derrick Truby, Lucy Hall, and Lucy Rossi, supported by a live band of Northern Michigan musicians. Timed with the nation's 250th birthday, the production reflects on a uniquely American musical voice and the enduring power of songs that connect generations.
