A Doll’s House, Part 2 at Open Book Theatre is a compelling exploration of autonomy and gender roles, set fifteen years after Nora Helmer's departure from her family. Directed by Wendy Katz Hiller, the cast features Krista Schafer as Nora and Jessica Boehmer as her daughter, Emmy. The play examines contemporary issues through a modern lens while maintaining the essence of Ibsen's original narrative. With a focus on personal choice and societal expectations, this production invites audiences to engage in meaningful conversations about liberation and identity.
