The 2026 Gilmore International Piano Festival features over 75 events celebrating the intersection of classical and jazz piano artistry from April 30 to May 10 in Southwest Michigan. Opening and closing the festival will be Sullivan Fortner, the recipient of the 2026 Larry J. Bell Jazz Artist Award. Special performances include a pre-festival recital by Joshua Bell and Shai Wosner, as well as world premieres of new compositions such as American Sputnik and The Kalamazoo Flow. The festival also includes immersive experiences for emerging pianists through its Festival Fellows program, showcasing the creative talent of both established and rising artists.
