The Ringwald Theatre will present August: Osage County from May 10-June 3, 2013. Capping off a successful "Season of Family", The Ringwald has indeed saved what is arguably the best for last; certainly the biggest for last. The Ringwald has had great success with the plays of Tracy Letts in the past, producing two of his works: Bug and Killer Joe. August: Osage County promises to be every bit as compelling as his past works.

All performances of August: Osage County will take place at The Ringwald Theatre, 22742 Woodward Avenue in downtown Ferndale. Tickets are currently available at www.TheRingwald.com.

Winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, August: Osage County tells the twisted, audacious story of the Weston family. When patriarch Beverly Weston goes missing, the extended family converges on the rambling Weston home in the dog days of August in the northeast corner of Oklahoma. Once the family is reunited the gloves come off and the house explodes in a maelstrom of hidden truths and unsettling secrets. Mix in the acid-tongued, pill-popping matriarch, three sisters harboring their own secrets, and an absolutely explosive family dinner and August: Osage County becomes an instant classic!

The phenomenal cast of August: Osage County include Melissa Beckwith as Karen, Jan Cartwright as Mattie Fay, Dan Jaroslaw as Beverly, Kelly Komlen as Barbara, Bryan Lark as Steve, Jane MacFarlane as Violet, Joel Mitchell as Little Charles, Patrick O'Lear as Charlie, Amy Probst as Johnna, Travis Reiff as Bill, Jamie Richards as Deon Gilbeau, Katie Terpstra as Jean, and Jamie Warrow as Ivy.

Joe Bailey will direct. Dyan Bailey serves as assistant director and Michael Lopetrone will Stage Manage. Set design is by Adam Crinson. Lighting design is by Sam Garrett. Sound design is by Joe Plambeck. Barbie Weisserman will serve at costume designer.

August: Osage County opens Friday, May 10 and plays through Monday, June 3rd at 8pm on Friday, Saturday and Monday nights, and 3pm on Sundays. Ticket prices are $20.00 in advance/$22 at the door for Friday and Saturday performances, $15 for Sunday matinees and Monday nights are HALF OFF the original ticket price at only $10 a ticket.
