The New Theatre Project Seeks Artists For Inaugural Season
By: Charlie Piane
The New Theatre Project is currently seeking resumes and portfolios for artists wishing to direct, stage manage, or design for Season 1: Identity. Projects in our inaugural season will approach the question, "Who am I?" from various theatricalperspectives. TNTP is interested in exploring our own identity and our identity in relation to the artistic community we inhabit.
All artists should submit a theatrical resume of relevant credits. Designers, including set designers, costume designers, light designers, sound designers, multimedia designers and properties designers, should also submit a small portfolio showing evidence of creative life.Playwrights may turn in a resume if desired but it is not required. Scripts and ten-page script samples will be accepted. Any script pertaining to this season's theme of "identity" will receive the most immediate attention. All positions are paid. Non-union only. Please submit all materials by June 11, 2010.All materials should be sent to keith@thenewtheatreproject.org. Snail mail resumes and portfolios will not be accepted. In the case of non-electronic portfolio items, in person appointments can be made.Visit www.thenewtheatreproject.org for more information.Videos
