Bay City Players to Stage Kim Carney's MOONGLOW, 10/8-27

Bay City Players will present the heartwarming play; Moonglow, by Kim Carney on October 18-20 and October 24-27, 2013 at the Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Performance times are 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Moonglow is directed by Tina Sills.

The box office for Moonglow opens on Monday, October 14, 2013. Box office hours are Monday through Saturday, October 14th -19th & October 21st -26th from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Sunday, October 20th & October 27th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The box office phone number is (989) 893-5555. Students may purchase tickets for the Thursday, October 24th performance for $5.00; student ID must be presented to the box office at time of purchase.

For the performance on Friday, October 25th students in health services at SVSU, Delta, and CMU can purchase tickets for $5.00; student ID must be presented to the box office at time of purchase.

THE PLOT: This heartwarming play, written by Michigan author Kim Carney tells the story of a woman moving her mother into an assisted living facility. Determined not to go quietly, her mother causes a ruckus, finds a jitter-bug partner, and teaches her daughter a valuable lesson in life, all told though music, dancing and love.
