RUDE MECHANICAL PRODUCTIONS
presents the professional world premiere of
BLIND LIGHT, BLUE SUNDAY
By Ryan Parvis
FOR TWO WEEKS ONLY

February 8th - February 18th, 2007

Kyle, an eleven year old boy, is convinced he is a superhero named The Blue Scorcher. In an attempt to cure him of his fantasy, Kyle's parents and local bishop force him to see a therapist. Kyle isn't the only one living a fantasy life and as his fantasy is stripped away, the secret lives of the adults surrounding him are exposed. The play is serio-comic (as in the comic book) with some scenes happening from both the real point of view and the superhero point of view.

Performances run February 8th - February 18th. The theatre offers free parking to all theatre patrons. The theatre is located on the G Star Campus, 2030 S Congress Ave., Bldg. H, just south of Forest Hill Blvd. Reserve your tickets by calling (561) 843-0568. Cash only accepted at the door.

Admission to all shows includes a Meet the Artists session after the performance. The show runs approximately an hour and a half.

Rude Mechanical Productions enters its second season of theatre in West Palm Beach. Last year the theatre company produced a very successful and artistically impressive season which included the world premiere of Fire: The Next Sharp Stick?, by John Hodgman (who can now be seen in every Mac vs. PC commercial), and the extremely difficult Nocturne, by Adam Rapp. Although two of the original founders have moved away from South Florida, the company has been restructured and is ready to continue to produce high energy theatre for the young at heart. This production marks the first time students from G-Star School of the Arts, where the theatre is located, will appear on stage as acting interns.
