The Colony Hotel to Welcome Marilyn Maye, 3/15-19

The Colony Hotel - which The Palm Beach Post has hailed as "probably the best place for cabaret on the planet" - is presenting next week the octogenarian singing legend MARILYN MAYE, who can also be found gracing the cover of the March/April issue of Cabaret Scenesmagazine.

In a gushing tribute to the "Master of the Art of Performance," Cabaret Scenes writer Elizabeth Ahlfors writes, "Catching up with Marilyn Maye? It's not so easy. Nearing her 88th birthday, Maye remains a whirlwind of talent, generosity and good humor propelled by the joy of living and singing. The legendary Marilyn Maye is returning to The Colony's Royal Room for her eighth engagement. She is the holder of the singer's record (76 appearances) on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career is a litany of honors, awards, and landmark achievements. Her hit songs include "Step to the Rear," "The Lamp is Low," "Sherry" and "If My Friends Could See Me Now." Known as a "Singer's Singer," she has performed at New York's Copa Cobana, The Living Room, Michael's Pub, The Rainbow Grill, St. Regis, The Metropolitan Room, Birdland and appears frequently at 54 Below.

Cost to Attend Marilyn Maye:

For each guest there will be a $90 cover charge on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, a $110 cover charge on Friday and Saturday, plus a $50 minimum for food and beverage.

Showtime & Ticket Information:
