Women of Ireland is described as "an innovative and exciting full stage concert production which showcases the well of talent that exists within Ireland’s traditions of music, song and dance. In the age of legends, when the Tuatha De Dannan were The Kings Of Ireland, women were revered and worshipped as goddesses. The show spectacular Celtic Goddess is a celebration in music, song and dance of the beauty, power and mysticism of womankind."

The Women of Ireland are joined by a host of world champion dancers and critically acclaimed musicians at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Thurs. March 8 at 8 PM.

Celtic Goddess presents "the most revered qualities of Ireland’s ethnic music, transporting the audience from the Irish fireside to the international concert hall platform. Special significance is placed on depicting the pure qualities of Irish music in a contemporary setting. Meet the Women of Ireland, whose angelic and haunting voices stir the hearts and minds of music lovers all over the world ! This exciting line up of Ireland's leading female performers features Denise Brennan, who has toured with Riverdance, trained with Ronan Tynan of The Irish Tenors and recently released debut album Sailing with the Wind. Irish fiddle player Zoe Conway’s list of achievements belies her youth.Zoe has performed with such international acts as Riverdance, Damien Rice, Rodrigo y Gabriella, and Lou Reed. Michelle Lally,from Galway, is a powerful singer who has emerged on the international Irish music scene. She is currently the lead female vocalist with top Irish traditional group Frankie Gavin & De Dannan. Ingrid Madsen specializes in church singing. Her haunting vocal talents have captivated audiences throughout the world. Siobhan Manson has won many national and international Irish Dancing titles, and also dances with Broadway phenomenon Riverdance."
