The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Matthew Lombardo will launch the inaugural season of WinterStage to be presented at the 1,167 seat Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, beginning January 2014.

Lombardo has been instrumental in bringing name talent to the Parker Playhouse over the past few years, having written and produced Tea at Five with Tovah Feldshuh, High starring Kathleen Turner and, last season, brought Stefanie Powers as Tallulah Bankhead in the critically-acclaimed production of Looped. Actresses Kate Mulgrew and Valerie Harper have also made appearances in his plays in South Florida at The Cuillo Center for the Arts in West Palm Beach.

"I have a very special place in my heart for the audiences in South Florida," Lombardo said. "Continuing to bring name talent in first-class productions to the beautiful and historic Parker Playhouse is such a gratifying venture. Today, I am happy to announce that WinterStage will present three concerts with Broadway's biggest names. I am currently finalizing an equally exciting slate of artists and plays, which I plan to announce as part of the WinterStage Season soon."

The 2014 WinterStage concerts, produced by Mark Cortale, are as follows:
