"THE PEARL IN THE HOGWALLER," a new cabaret featuring popular local performer

Becca McCoy, will debut in the Side Door space at the Palladium Theater for one show only, Sunday, April 17th at 6pm. The sixty-minute show features an eclectic array of music, from Stephen Sondheim to CARRIE: THE MUSICAL, Indigo Girls to PIPPIN, all sung in Becca's inimitable style.

Becca McCoy went from being an actor in Chicago to a stay at home mom in Palatka, FL, overnight, and lived to tell the tale.

In THE PEARL IN THE HOGWALLER, go on a journey of coping and self-discovery in a town full of quirks, and surprises. Bombeck had Jane Curtain's dryness, Demetri Martin's Large Pad, and a 4 1/2 octave range, you'd get THE PEARL IN THE HOGWALLER.

Becca McCoy is a professional actor with credits from theatres all over the country, most recently seen in THE FROGS with freeFall Theatre, and about to originate the role of Brooke in the Tampa Company of MOTHERHOOD THE MUSICAL in the Jaeb at the Straz Center, opening June 2011.

Becca has been awarded in musical theatre at the National level by the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts (youngARTS) and National Society of Arts and Letters.

Her 2010 cabarets LOVE WITH THE LIGHTS ON and A NOT SO SILENT NIGHT went on to play numerous successful mountings at different Bay Area venues, and Becca can be heard each Monday night at the Flamingo Lounge's Broadway Cabaret.
