By: Jul. 11, 2006

Waterfront Playhouse
Lights Up on Kids - Performance
101 Dalmatians
July 15th at 1:00 PM - FREE TO ALL

The Waterfront Playhouse, Key West Players, Inc. "LIGHTS UP ON KIDS" Summer Workshop presents 101 Dalmatians directed by Bill Wheeler with music director Jae Kellogg. The production will be performed by workshop participants on Saturday, July 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Waterfront Playhouse. The play is free and open to the public.

The "Lights Up on Kids" Workshop included twenty two children from 6 to 15 years of age and covered set design, prop making, costuming, choreography, speech, vocal music, makeup, and acting.

101 Dalmatians is familiar to audiences through the Disney films both animated and live action. This version is based on the original novel for children and differs from the Disney versions. Although it still features all those adorable dogs and the very evil Cruella DeVil. The songs in the show are derived from the great American catalogue of standard songs and Broadway musicals and will be familiar to many.

Bring your children and all the family to support these aspiring actors and enjoy a free afternoon of entertainment at the Waterfront Playhouse.

The Playhouse is located in Mallory Square (home of Key West's famous sunset gathering.)  For further information or to purchase tickets phone 305-294-5015, or visit www.waterfrontplayhouse.com
