Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and offices in Naples and Bonita Springs, FL, is serving as corporate partner for the 2009-10 Gulfshore Playhouse season. Gulfshore Playhouse is an award-winning professional theater company located in Naples, Florida. The organization produces New York-quality theater with actors from around the country boasting high-profile theater, film and television credits.

"Our new partnership with Gulfshore Playhouse demonstrates Cohen & Grigsby's commitment to our region and to supporting the arts and other cultural pursuits here," said Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. "The partnership correlates closely with what we call our 'Culture of Performance,' a philosophy that permeates the entire organization. Every member of our firm -- partners, associates and support staff -- takes responsibility for client satisfaction and success. Our work is rooted in our mission to serve clients not only as legal counsel but also as business advisors."

This season, Gulfshore Playhouse is producing several exciting professional plays in downtown Naples: "Beau Jest," an off-Broadway family comedy, and "A Doll's House," a timeless classic. In January 2010, theater-goers flocked to a production of "Honour," a recent Broadway hit.

In addition to New York-quality shows, Gulfshore Playhouse presented two full weekends of music with its cabaret/jazz club series this past fall. "The Sedaka Show," starring Jim Van Slyke, was a magnificent evening of Neil Sedaka favorites, lost gems and a few surprises. Sedaka himself has seen the show and said it "blew him away." Naples will also welcome back Franc D'Ambrosio in April with his new show, "I'll Be Seeing Youz," a Bronx boy's musical perspective of World War II featuring the lively music of that era.

"Generous benefactors such as Cohen & Grigsby enable Gulfshore Playhouse to offer a wide array of compelling entertainment to the Southwest Florida region," said Kristen Coury, founder and producing artistic director of Gulfshore Playhouse. "We are pleased to have formed a partnership with the firm, and look forward to finding other ways for our organizations to collaborate in the future."

All of Gulfshore's productions are held in the intimate 200-seat Norris Center Theater in downtown Naples.
