Gutenberg! The Musical! an off-Broadway and London hit is being presented for four nights only by the Bay Street Players in Eustis. Be sure to save one of the following Sunday nights, July, 24, 31, Aug. 7, 14 to see this critically acclaimed musical. In fact, you might want to come to one of the first shows, so you can come see it again. Don't expect to learn the true history of the printing press from this show, but you will laugh so hard your face will hurt.
In this two- man musical spoof, a pair of aspiring playwrights performs a backer's audition for their new project - a big splashy musical about printing press inventor Johann Gutenberg. Travis Finlayson and Joel Warren deliver characters that are both hilarious and endearing in this side-splitting production.Travis Finlayson previously appeared in the Bay Street Project production of "A Few Good Men" as Daniel Kaffee, and Joel Warren, was last seen on the Bay Street stage as Ross in "Visiting Mr. Green."Plan to attend Central Florida's premier performance of the musical the London Times called "A STUNNING SATIRE!
