Angel, Alan & More Teach At B'way Theatre Project Summer Musical Intensive Program

200 students from across the United States as well as Australia, Canada and American Samoa are attending this summer's intensive curriculum at Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) to properly prepare them for a professional career in the performing arts. BTP will culminate in an exciting festival featuring performances and workshops by the apprentices and various faculty members and guest artists to be held at the University of South Florida from July 29-31.
Broadway Theatre Project's 2010 faculty and guest artists are made up of numerous Broadway professionals including: Adrienne Angel, Ken Alan, Jed Bernstein, Jonathan Bernstein, Jay Binder, Grady McLeod Bowman, Dave Clemmons, Christopher d'Amboise, Ronnie DeMarco, Nancy Dussault, Darren Gibson, David Loud, Valentine Mayer, Yvonne Marceau, Donna McKechnie, Debra McWaters, John Parks, Austin Pendleton, Rick Pessagno, Tammy Silva, Frank Wildhorn, Nikole Vallins, Ben Vereen and Patrick Wilson.About BTP: Founded 20 years ago, Broadway Theatre Project is described by Playbill magazine as "the world's most prestigious musical theatre arts education program for high school and college students." Under the Artistic Direction of Debra McWaters, the not-for-profit BTP (a 501c3) is an intensive three-week training program focused on the key disciplines of musical theatre including acting, dancing, and singing, as well as the critical life skills necessary to work in the professional world of entertainment.
