Jóvenes Zapateadores will present Mujer, sitio de memorias as part of the Palacio en Movimiento dance season on August 1, 2024, at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Directed and choreographed by Blanca Ramírez Gil, this performance explores the ancestral legacy of women through dance, music, and cultural elements. The piece emphasizes themes of female resilience and celebrates the intimate experiences shared among women. Founded by Ernesto Luna Ramírez, Jóvenes Zapateadores has been a platform for young artists to create and reimagine Mexican folk dance for two decades.
