Stage Door Productions' Artistic Director, Brandon Kelly, has pulled his inspiration from midtown Memphis with a locally-inspired set and concept that brings Godspell to the heart of our community.

Godspell (an archaic spelling of "gospel") is a musical loosely based on the parables of Jesus with a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz (composer of Wicked and Pippin). This revised version, updated in 2012, showcases well-loved songs including the international hit, "Day By Day," "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," and "Learn Your Lessons Well."

The production will take place at The Kroc Center (800 East Parkway, Memphis, TN).

Performances are set for July 18-20 & 25-27. Friday and Saturday night shows are at 7:00pm and Sunday shows are at 2:00pm. There is also a Pay What You Can performance Thursday July 24 at 7:00pm.

Tickets are NOW on sale! All tickets are $20 Adults and $15 Students/Seniors- seating is general admission. For group rates or additional information contact Stage Door Productions www.stagedoormemphis.org. at (901) 729-8029.
