Continuing the celebration of the King of Rock 'n' Roll's 75th birthday in 2010, On Stage Touring and Troika Entertainment, in partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., today announced the plans for the first-ever North American ELVIS LIVES Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Event. The planned 20-week coast-to-coast tour will kick off in September 2011 and continue through the spring of 2012. The tour is designed to be a special added attraction to the over 100 Broadway-style series held in major, secondary and tertiary American metropolitan markets, as well as the numerous performing arts centers and theaters that host high-quality live music presentations.

Elvis Lives responds to the demand from venues and fans eager to see a continuation of the successful 26-city regional tour held earlier this year. Upgraded for adaptation as a key touring attraction for regional Broadway series presenters and their patrons, Elvis Lives is a live concert celebration of one of the greatest musical performers who ever lived. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be there live, with the music of the man who revolutionized music forever - Elvis Presley. The tour will feature four of the world's greatest Elvis tribute artists paying homage to the king during various stages of his career, an Ann-Margret tribute artist, live band and back-up singers and dancers.

The featured performers are tribute artists who were previously selected as finalists at preliminary competitions for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest produced annually by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and held throughout Australia, Canada, England, Japan, Norway and the United States. As finalists of these preliminary round events, they won the opportunity to compete in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition, held during Elvis Week in Memphis and each finished in the top ten of all contestants.

"The partnership between On Stage Touring, Troika Entertainment and Elvis Presley Enterprises provides the only authentic touring showcase of Elvis tribute artists for fans who want to experience the music and live performance charisma of one of the most popular recording artists in history," said Brian Brigner, chief operating officer of On Stage.
"It's been exciting to see The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest spotlight some of the most talented Elvis tribute artists in the world," said Scott Williams, vice president of marketing for Elvis Presley Enterprises. "This tour will give even more Elvis fans throughout North America an opportunity to see these talented entertainers. We are eager to bring our abundance of co-marketing resources to bear for this tour as it reaches both old and new fans of Elvis as we support this important touring event."

"We are honored to be selected to work with On Stage and Elvis Presley Enterprises to bring our expertise in adapting and touring Broadway style productions," said Nicholas Howey, founder and CEO of Troika Entertainment.
