Portland Ovations Brings Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway to Portland 11/4

Following the enthusiastic 2010 Portland Ovations debut of Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway, Portland Ovations brings Berg's all new production, 101 Years of Broadway to Merrill Auditorium, on Friday, November 4th at 8pm.

An all-new musical revue with more of the greatest songs from hit Broadway musicals. This highly anticipated return engagement features a dazzling cast of five Broadway stars accompanied by an all-star band. 101 Years of Broadway recreates the biggest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the actual stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. These amazing performers light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling songs from Broadway's newest hit shows.

Past productions of this popular show have featured Betty Buckley, Liz Callaway, Ben Vereen, and Alex Santoriello among others. Along with musical director and pianist Neil Berg, the Portland Ovations production feature's Chuck Wagner (Beauty and The Beast, Kiss Me Kate), Danny Zolli (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar), Natalie Toro (Les Miserables, A Tale of Two Cities), Rob Evan (Jekyll and Hyde, Les Miserables), and Sandra Joseph (The Phantom of The Opera).
