Grace Street to Present SWEET DREAMS, MR. HEROIN
By: Tyler Peterson
Grace Street will present the U.S. premiere or "Sweet Dreams, Mr. Heroin", a play written by Ireland's Sean Ronin. The show is a hauntingly beautiful story about a father's love and heartbreak for his addicted son, and a woman's struggle with opiate dependence and prostitution as she desperately tries be at her daughter's first holy communion.
Originally commissioned by the Drug Awareness Board in Dublin, Ireland, the tale was so well-received that the producers scheduled additional performances. Mr. Ronin discovered Grace Street through an article written in the Boston Globe and plans were made to bring the production to the U.S. Please join us along with the playwright and cast for an evening of theater and conversation, November 7th and 8th at 7:00 PM. Light concessions will be available before and after the showing. Doors open at 6:30. General admission. Ample parking available. Not suitable for younger audiences. Photography or recording of any kind is strictly prohibited. Tickets are $15.00 and are available for pre-order at gracestreetservices.com.
