The Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras (WYSO) is celebrating their 50th Anniversary. To cap off the season long celebration, a Gala Anniversary Concert will be held at Overture Hall. The concert will feature three full orchestras, a string orchestra, the percussion ensemble, brass choirs and select chamber ensembles. All four orchestras and the percussion ensemble will premiere pieces that have been commissioned especially for this concert. The grand finale will feature nearly 400 young musicians on stage performing a stunning new arrangement of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy!
