Shakespeare's Lovers In June at Madison Shakespeare Company

June is for lovers. So join the Madison Shakespeare Company Ensemble for two special presentations of love scenes and Sonnets From a Hat at a fun, casual setting for outdoor theater:

Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2 2024, 2 PM at Tyranena Brewing Company, 1025 Owen St. in Lake Mills

This reimagined presentation of A Valentine’s Affair 2024 hits the open road with scenes from As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, The Merchant of Venice, Taming of the Shrew, Edward the Fourth, and other classics. Be part of the world premiere of the “Order Beer Like Shakespeare” game, or give a shout-out during the unpredictable combination of classic poetry and modern improvisation: Sonnets From a Hat. Every love scene is completely new to the beer garden!

We suggest a $10 contribution per person when you join us for Lovers In June.

About the Beer Garden: Seating is available first-come-first-served on the patio, or bring your own blankets and chairs for the spacious lawn. No carry-in beverages please, but carry-in food is encouraged!
