This charming play, performed by students Grades 3-5, is based on Kenneth Grahame’s "The Wind in the Willows." Toad of Toad Hall is an eccentric but likable chap given to ’crazes.’ His latest craze involves motorcars. He even steals one for a wild ride over the countryside, which naturally gets him into a great deal of trouble! His friends Badger, Rat, and Mole do their best to help, but their efforts aren’t enough, and Toad ends up in prison... after an uproarious courtroom scene. Meanwhile, his enemies the weasels quickly take over Toad Hall and trash the place. The jailer’s daughter, Polly, helps Toad escape dressed as a washerwoman so he can join his friends in a wild sceme to recapture Toad Hall from the weasels! Approximate running time is 60 minutes. Lobby and box office open at 5:30. Theatre doors open at 6:30 for seating. Show time is 7:00pm each night. Concessions are available pre-show. Tickets may be purchased, online, by phone, or at the door. "Mr. Toad's Mad Adventures" is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Denver, Colorado.
