The Kentucky Center Announces New and Reelected Endowment Board Members

One new member was elected, one member was elected to the position of chair of the Endowment Board, and two past members were re-elected, at the Oct. 3 meeting of the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts Endowment Board. Eric Slavinsky, chief information officer of LG&E and KU was elected for the first time, member Rick Guillaume was appointed to the position of chair of the Endowment Board, and Mary Stone, founder of the Convention Connection, and Joy Yudofsky, of Yudofsky Furriers, were reelected.

Eric Slavinsky has more than 20 years in information technology. He was named to his current position at LG&E in 2010, and serves as a key executive strategist for the organization and industry. Prior to LG&E, Slavinsky was vice president of information technology at Comcast Communications. He is a 2011 graduate of Focus Louisville and an active volunteer with Metro United Way.

Rick Guillaume has over 40 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving in several successive leadership roles at BB&T, including chairman and CEO of Kentucky operations. He is an active member of the local arts community, currently serving on the boards of the Fund for the Arts, the Louisville Orchestra Foundation, and the Kentucky Center.

Mary Stone was the founder and president of the Convention Connection, a meeting planning and tour company, for 18 years. She is an active community leader who has served on the boards of the Kentucky Center, the Governor’s School for the Arts, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, the Kentucky Derby Museum, and Women 4 Women, among many others. She has served on the Endowment Board since 2006.

Joy Yudofsky took over the family business, Yudofsky Furriers, in the early 1970s and turned it into one of Louisville’s most successful retail operations. She has served on the boards of the Kentucky Opera, the Kentucky Center, the Association of the Louisville Orchestra, the National Council of Jewish Women and the Louisville Jewish Day School. She has served on the Endowment Board since 2006.
