The Henry Clay Theatre Presents MARRY ME A LITTLE, 6/19-29
Marry Me A Little opens at at the Henry Clay Theatre on June 19 and runs until June 29.
Marry Me A Little, with music by Stephen Sondheim, uses several unknown songs by the undisputed master of the contemporary Broadway musical to tell a charming and bittersweet tale of love, loneliness and survival as a modern single. In this updated version, four single strangers, left alone in their Brooklyn studio apartments on a Saturday night, pass their time with sweetly secret, un-shared fantasies, never knowing that they're just a floor away from each other and the end of their lonely dreams. They imagine many possible relationships and feelings, sometimes solo, sometimes as parallel duets and occasionally with one actor fulfilling a role in the other's fantasy.
Sondheim is rarely done in the Louisville area, don't miss this rare treat!
