Pandora Productions Presents PAGEANT: THE MUSICAL, Opens 5/6

By:

The suspense is building . . . who will be chosen as "Miss Glamouresse"? Miss Bible Belt; Miss Deep South; Miss West Coast; Miss Industrial Northeast; Miss Great Plains; or Miss Texas? Find out as Pandora presents Pageant: The Musical, premiering Thursday, May 6. An off-the-charts wild and funny satire of beauty contests, Pageant is a musical performance like no beauty pageant you've seen before. Live at every performance six contestants battle it out for the title of "Miss Glamouresse". Judges picked from the audience determine a different winner at every performance with the contestants competing in several categories including evening gown, spokes model and beauty crisis counseling. Did we mention all the contestants are played by men? This is definitely not your grandmother's Miss America! Maybe you will be chosen to help decide who gets to wear the crown of "Miss Glamouresse" at yet another regional premiere for Pandora audiences!

Pageant: The Musical is presented by Pandora Productions at the Henry Clay, 604 South Third Street, 3rd Floor, Downtown Louisville. Book & Lyrics by Bill Russell & Frank Kelly; Music by Albert Evans; Conceived by Robert Longbottom. Produced by Michael J. Drury, Directed by Steven Jones. The cast includes Brent Gettlefinger as Frankie, Christephor Gilbert as Miss Texas, Alex Craig as Miss Deep South, Gerald Robertson as Miss West Coast, Michael J. Drury as Miss Bible Belt, Aaron Childress as Miss Industrial Northeast, Brad Lambert as Miss Great Plains, Tony Vincent as the Reigning Miss Glamouresse, and Kiel Dodd as Frankie's Assistant.
