LITTLE MERMAID, 9 TO 5 and More Set for Derby Dinner Playhouse 52nd Season
The Clarksville, Indiana venue will also stage Calendar Girls, Misery, and Little Shop of Horrors.
Derby Dinner Playhouse has revealed its 52nd Season, featuring a lineup of beloved musicals and comedies. The season kicks off with the heartwarming comedy Calendar Girls (May 20-June 28), a touching and hilarious tale of friendship, courage, and unexpected fame that is based on a true story. Audiences will then dive under the sea with the family favorite Disney's The Little Mermaid (July 1-Aug 9), followed by Heartbreak Hotel (Aug 12-Sept 27), a high-energy musical celebrating Elvis Presley and the rise of a rock 'n' roll legend.
Thrills take center stage with the suspenseful drama Misery (Sept 30-Nov 8), based on the chilling Stephen King novel. The holiday season brings festive cheer with A Christmas Story: The Musical (Nov 11-Dec 31), a nostalgic and humorous tale perfect for the whole family.
In the new year, patrons can enjoy the fast-paced British farce The Cottage (Jan 6-Feb 14), delivering plenty of wit and romantic misadventures. The season continues with the cult classic musical Little Shop of Horrors (Feb 17-March 28), combining tongue-in-cheek comedy and unforgettable music.
Closing out the season is the empowering and crowd-pleasing 9 to 5: The Musical (March 31-May 16, 2027), a high-spirited story of friendship, revenge, and workplace justice set to a lively score written by Dolly Parton.
"Our 52nd season truly has it all. Comedy, drama, nostalgia, and spectacular music and dance," said Producing Artistic Director, Tina Jo Wallace. "We are so excited to continue our long tradition of offering our patrons the chance to come together, escape for a night of joyful entertainment, and create life-long memories with family and friends!"
