DISAPPEARANCE OF DANIEL HAND Premieres at Walden Theatre, 11/11-20

By:

Daniel disappeared, but the clues and impressions he left behind lead his classmate, an aspiring filmmaker, on an investigation to the heart of who he might have been. But is anyone really the person that other people take them to be?

The Disappearance of Daniel Hand, directed by Alec Volz, is the second in Walden Theatre's Slant Culture Series of new plays for young people. Slant Culture presents new works by rising playwrights that feature complex teenage characters. The name Slant Culture comes from the laboratory practice of tilting a test tube to provide a greater area for growth, likewise we're using this series to challenge our young actors to approach character development by drawing directly from their own lives and those of their peers.
