EXCALIBER SHAKESPEARE COMPANY OF CHICAGO FOUNDER DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON SHARES A 1980S THEATRICAL MEMORY THAT'S STAINED WITH A LITTLE BLOOD! HOW CLOSE IS A KILLER TO THE CROWN?: Behold the Royal Court of Barbara Burinski as Her Majesty, Queen Katherine and Ray Nelson as His Majesty, King Richard ( poised in their regal robes at center ). A VERY HAPPY COUPLE, NO QUESTION! But who near them is capable of MURDER, AND MURDER MOST FOUL AT A ROYAL WEDDING? Is it one of the Borgias' Royal Party from Italy ( on the far left ), capable of deadly swordplay and / or poisoning in an instant? Is it their extremely loyal Lord Chancellor, Sir Percival Degage', played by Richard D. Weber ( on the far right ) who, with satin or silk, is willing to kill with ease over the slightest fashion violation? Or is it someone even closer to The Crown. Standing beside the Queen is her younger sister, Princess Marigold of Lincolnshire, the scheduled bride, who may or may not be entirely pleased with the man near her, and scheduled groom, the Prince of France. Behind the right of the King is Darryl Maximilian Robinson as His Eminence, Tomas de Torquemada, The Grand Inquisitor of Spain, who has some serious experience conducting an investigation ( but due to his own nefarious and notorious reputation as The Presiding High Official of The Church for The Spanish Inquisition ) finds he too is a Suspect! Everyone here is CAPABLE OF MURDER. And only Visitors and Guests To King Richard's Faire will ( By Their Votes! ) decide at each performance WHODUNIT in "Murder, They Quoth" the musical comedy mystery Grand Scenario of the 1986 King Richard's Faire of Kenosha, Wisconsin. LONG LIVE THE FAIRE!
