The holidays are at Knott's Berry farm, and the Snoopy on Ice shows have been a mainstay at the park for 40 years now.
With help from edgefactory, a full-service, technology-focused media production company, this year’s show— “Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas”— has received a major tech upgrade. Much of the cumbersome physical sets from previous year’s show that had to be rolled across the ice have been done away with in favor of eye-catching new digital sets and elements.
The digital set elements, designed and implemented by the team at edgefactory, allow for quick and seamless scene changes. There is less pausing and waiting for set changes creating a more exciting and fast paced show, with more focus on skating rather than clunky sets.
The new show also includes pre-recorded segments featuring the Peanuts characters that play before and throughout the show to keep audiences attention in between the action. The updated digital sets make the beloved Snoopy on Ice even more exciting and engaging than ever before.
“Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas” will be showing through January 8th on select dates and times, so get out and see it before it ends!
