Inland Valley Repertory Theatre Continues its 2026 Season with the summer musical Footloose, performed at the University of La Verne’s Morgan Auditorium.

This adaptation of the blockbuster 1994 film starring Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer explodes onto the stage in a pulse-pounding live musical event! Packed with original songs and smash hits from its Oscar-nominated score including Holding Out for a Hero, Let’s Hear it for the Boy, Almost Paradise, and the show’s title song, Footloose ignites the stage with high-octane dance, unstoppable energy, and pure celebration.

The cast of 30 talented local performers includes the husband-and-wife team of Micah and Leilani Munck in the leading roles of Ren McCormack and Ariel Moore. IVRT veteran actors Patrick McMahon, Dani Bustamante, Tiffany Berg McMahon, DawnEllen Ferry, Marcel Almirantearena, Amanda Colcough, Sarah Escobar Fountain, Michael Gallo, and JoeJoe McKinney return to the stage in supporting roles. The production is directed by Frank Minano, with music direction by Ronda Rubio, costumes by Mark Gamez, and wig/hair design by Kirklyn Robinson. Footloose runs from July 18 to August 2, with performances on Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.

Running in repertory with Footloose is IVRT’s annual SCRIPTFEST, featuring performances in a readers' theater format. This year's lineup includes Ronald Harwood’s Quartet on Friday, July 24 and Terrence McNally’s comedy It’s Only a Play on Friday, July 31.

Founded in 1990 by Frank and Donna Marie Minano, IVRT is a non-profit regional theatre company dedicated to presenting high-quality productions that showcase local talent of all ages. Over the years, IVRT has remained true to its mission, producing award-winning works that have earned widespread acclaim, including the Rancho Cucamonga Community Foundation’s Primavera Award for "Outstanding Contributions to the Arts." Most recently, Inland Empire Magazine honored IVRT with its Readers’ Choice Award for Best Performing Arts Company in the Inland Empire for the second year in a row.

All performances take place at Morgan Auditorium on the University of La Verne campus.
